THE PI WEEKLY
ISSUE #36

WE ARE FINALLY BACK
To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.
PROGRESS
MUSK KILLER. The PI WEEKLY was sent through REVUE.com - a Twitter company. Elon Musk killed it. I loved REVUE. I don't like Elon Musk. Now I am using BEEHIVE. This is the first issue and always - you gotta get used to it but we are back on track.
BEEHIVE VERIFICATION. This newsletter was ready to be sent out two weeks ago. I pushed the button SEND. Nothing! Beehive came back with a message that I needed to be verified. Whaaaat?? You tell me that now? I need to send it out! The surprise obstacles you have to overcome in projects like this is sometimes really crazy. Nobody sees it but it takes up so much time. Anyway, I am verified and I am going push te button SEND in a few seconds. See what happens.
BREAK-THROUGH. I found Notion.com. Woow, it is what exactly what I needed. I can now bring together all information for a smart IT architect. (S)he can then translate it into a design so the coders can build the city of opportunities. We have some progress the last 6 weeks. Woooow.
CITY OF OPPORTUNITIES. We will visualize the Peoples' Impact Platform as a city with districts, zones, and real estate. An app like Living Cities allows us to visualize the platform as a city with activities, interactions, and transactions, connected to buildings and groups of people. Drawback: no experience with Living Cities; so don't hold your breath but we getting closer and closer.

BUILDING A CITY OF OPPORTUNITIES [PART I]
I never wanted to be an architect. What I did want was to think like an architect. The father of one of my best friends was a well-known architect. He had a huge drawing board in his house where he used to draw buildings on paper. Even as a child, I was fascinated by the idea that a white piece of paper was the start of a chain of activities that ultimately led to a building used by thousands of people every week or day. These buildings – for better or worse – changed the spot and the surroundings they were built on. And their structures impact people. You can substantially change areas by erecting a few buildings. A good architect will think through the impact that her building will have on people.

COLORED EXPERIENCES: VALUABLE!
She said: “I give you a million dollars and a tech team that can build anything. Can we start tomorrow?” the answer was always NO, not yet. Now I am ready for the millions and ready for the Tech team. The answer is YES, I am ready. I can now offer a tech team all the information which they need to build it. Is it 100% finished? No, probably we are at 80% but the remaining 20% is a refinement of the basics. An experienced team can handle the basics and take it from there. Ready to Rock & Roll.

ARE PEOPLE TOO NICE ON LINKEDIN?
I am not a Linkedin expert and I am not even sure if I am a Linkedin fan. The fact is that my Linkedin experience is like walking in a boring area of a great city. You know a lot is going on but you can’t find your way to the party. You walk around in Berlin thinking "is that all there is"? Linkedin, is that all there is?
