IKOCITI WEEKLY

• DISTRICTS. This week I produced an important document about the IkoCiti districts. It is published but it still needs work.

• BOUNDARLESS. Emanuele has spoken to the Haier Institute about some form of collaboration between them, Haier, and the IkoCiti project. The plan is to write a series of articles featuring the RDHY model. It would be cool if they would do it but - I believe - there is a huge cultural gap between the super corporate Haier and IkoCiti.

• CURACAO INC. I published article #51 on LinkedIn Curacao Inc. Ball Don’t Lie. The article lays down the groundwork for a small project with co-writers about the organization of poverty reduction on the island. I have no idea if it will be picked up by others. We take our time; no rush.

• CONVERSATION. I had an interesting call with somebody about IkoCiti. Perhaps he will join the project in a few months.

• NO SETBACKS.

WEAKER LINKS

I write articles on how I build IkoCiti. I write down one word plus another plus another till I have a sentence, a paragraph, and a story. I create, I sweat, and I bleed – building a digital Citi is a slow and grinding process.

As a child, I was a somewhat talented goal scorer but I never challenged myself to the max. At school, I never challenged myself. I was a happy child. I was destined to enjoy life without going anywhere. But people do change. Now I kinda like to challenge myself to go Big or Broke. I am still happy; not as happy as that boy with a ball dreaming 24/7 about how he would score on Sunday. (How not if!)

<sub>If nobody knows what IkoCiti is all about, then the platform will never see the light of day. Selling IkoCit to the world is the key challenge. The first investment dollars should be channeled to increase awareness among different groups. The right kinda people need to consider us and eventually the hot prospects need to get on board.

You can build the tech but clear and honest communication and curation is vital in a 99.7% transparent environment in which people from all walks of life come together to collaborate — each with their own experiences and frustrations. What happens in the Sales District affects the producers and buyers directly. Frustrated buyers tend to stop buying. And that is not good.</sub>
