BUILDING IN PUBLIC
PROGRESS
SOFTR.IO. Softr turns your spreadsheets (Airtable or Google Sheets) into customer portals, internal tools, and any other custom app. I started to create a Job Board with Softr and publish all the jobs that we need. Of course, it is another learning curve to use the app but it is worthwhile.
POLYWORK. Polywork is a collaboration network that allows me to discover opportunities to collaborate with other professionals. Ploywork seems like a good alternative - next to Linkedin - to find like-minded people.
HAIER MODEL INSITUTE. .Joshua from the Haier Model Institute contacted me and we will talk next week. I expect we can exchange some ideas on Rendanheyi.
SETBACKS
WRITING. This week I was struggling a lot with the one article I published on LinkedIn this week. It took too much time. 85% of the articles flow like a Biggie song but some feel like running a Marathon backward. I took the wrong perspective of the story and had to rewrite it a lot. During the rewrite things became clearer for me - that is pure progress. My writing is my thinking.
THINGS TO IMPROVE
NEWSLETTER REACH. LinkedIn, Facebook, Substack, Medium, and email I have between 200-250 followers but it is all a one-way street. That is fine for the moment because the strategy is to build up content inventory - that is building up some Authority around IkoCiti and GenPoverty. Still, we need to increase the Reach and find ways to deepen the relationship with subscribers. No urgency right now but something we need to start paying more attention to.

#45 - A HERO SOLUTION?
SOCIAL/EMOTIONAL AWARENESS
In the last posts, we explored various alternatives for our organizational structure. What became clear is that the structure must fit the leadership style which in turn must fit the Mavericks’ culture based on the PI principles. Not surprisingly, we concluded that our leaders should possess high social and emotional intelligence.
You start with leadership and then you spread it around. Social/emotional intelligence must be a critical factor throughout the platform. Even as a selection criterion for the WiserCrowds Ecosystem of affiliated innovators/entrepreneurs offering services to the Mavericks and the Barrio.
