PROGRESS & SETBACKS

  • MORE OF THE SAME. This week was a week without new development. I worked on structuring TribeQa Notion, refining RobertoRoberto.co, writing the LinkedIn post, and making this newsletter without any issues.

  • NO SETBACKS. No real setbacks. Only an irritating action of wix.com to lower the storage limits. All apps want to convert people to their premium products but this is the wrong way. I am not a big fan of Wix but I am stuck more or less because the website is too big to redo on another platform, given its low priority.

SMART DUMBO'S: FLEXIBLE THINKING IS KEY - P1 [#40]

FUNDAMENTAL FLAWThe multi-billion dollar poverty industry won’t tell you that you cannot eradicate generational poverty (GenPoverty) without making the people concerned smarter. They won’t tell you that to eradicate GenPoverty you need self-propelling systems. And self-propelling systems need smarter people. They won’t tell you because building perpetual loops does not fit within their operational framework - building self-propelling systems requires radical empowerment of the people living in the barrios.

They theoretically embrace the concept but they are not willing to accept the high risks of failure. They don’t want to bet the house on it. Can you blame them? Maybe not but the tragedy is that playing it safe does not achieve fundamental solutions; it only softens the sharp edges of poverty. According to me, that is the fundamental flaw of the current establishment in the poverty industry.

  • How do we recruit a core unit of 3-4 co-founders?

  • How do we raise our first U$500.000?

IKOCITI ARCHITECTURE

CAVES

The Caves are the homes for the Squads - the operational units - that run the platform as independent micro-ventures. When operational, there could be 100+ squads delivering work to the platform. Each district (quartier or zone) will have Caves in its territory.
